RNLI Clifden Lifesavers Fund 2021 · 31 December 2021

Campaign by RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RCN Eng/Wal 209603,SC037736,ROI20003326,IOM1308,Jer14)
Our RNLI lifeboats in Ireland protect hundreds of communities through our 24-hour search and rescue service. They rely on the safest, most reliable lifeboats and modern stations to launch from.

Story

Welcome to the dedicated fundraising page for Clifden RNLI, which operates two lifeboats on the western coast of Galway, a Shannon class all weather lifeboat and and an Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat.
Clifden RNLI station was founded in 1988 and has grown and developed every year since.
Many of our sea going crew and volunteers are family and friends and together with our fundraising team we are a tight knit Connemara community dedicated to saving lives at sea.
We operate along the rocky and often treacherous Connemara coastline with our neighbouring stations being Aran Islands RNLI and Achill RNLI.
We are currently awaiting delivery of our new permanent Shannon Class lifeboat in 2022, a very special boat chosen for the RNLI’s Launch a Memory fundraising campaign. We are extremely grateful for all donations from supporters both old and new and thank you for your interest in our lifesaving work.
