Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in aid of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Ambulance.
Who are we?
We're Cliff Woodward and Scott Mills
What are we doing?
On 7th February 2015, we're climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
What are we doing it for?
Over the next 11 months we will be raising as much money as we can for an amazing charity called Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
Why do they need our help?
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance can save up to 3 lives a day, 90 lives in a month and a whopping 1080 lives a year and they receive no government funding!
How do they keep flying and saving lives then?
Exactly! Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance relies on the generosity of individuals and organisations throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives.
The only help the charity recieves is through secondment of paramedics from the NHS.
Wow! How much does it cost to keep saving lives?
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambuance must raise £125,000 per month to keep flying and saving lives. That breaks down to £4000 per day. Our Goal is to raise enough money to keep the Air Ambulance flying for 2 days.
