For over 30 years, the South Cleveland Heart Fund has 100% voluntarily raised funds to purchase equipment and specialist staff training for the cardio unit at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, keeping it at the leading edge of care. Your support does make a difference.

Story

I’m devastated to announce on behalf of our families, that Cliff Wilkinson passed away very suddenly from a heart attack on 28th March.

Cliff was a one off - a fantastic husband, dad, step-dad, grandad, brother, son and friend. He always had a joke or a fact, and the last thing he did was something he loved - chatting!

We would like to invite anyone who would like to send us flowers to instead make a donation to James Cook Hospital via this page, to contribute towards new cardiology equipment.

He made my mum and his family incredibly happy. He was a kind, gentle and loving man who would be delighted that the funds were being donated to help others who may need the same fantastic care that he received.

Thank you to everyone for your kind wishes, on behalf of his wife Irene, his daughters Andrea and Karen, along with the rest of their families.
