RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Well, it's that time of year again! It's time to climb the highest mountain in the UK!

The climbers are: Dan, Jim, Keith, Mark, Mike, Pete and Kim.

The name Ben Nevis is usually translated as 'malicious' or 'venomous mountain', although some people believe Nevis to be derived from the Gaelic for 'cloud' or 'Heaven'. It is often known antonomastically as The Ben.

We want to raise as much money as possible for the RNLI, so please sponsor us if you can. These guys are heroes, and they deserve our support.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
