This event is a climb up Kilimanjaro to the top which is over 19,000feet. This is an event in support of the charity Dementia UK.

Dementia UK have supported me and my family through the long and hard process of losing my grandmother, Annie Mills. She battled with Alzheimer's and dementia for a number of years, and although we all still loved her for who she still was, the hardest part was getting over the fact that she no longer knew who we were.

Alzheimers and dementia is a sad and painful thing to try and live through and I want to help Dememtia UK in the amazing work that they do.
