Scott Halliwell is going to be climbing both the Wainwrights (214 hills and mountains across the Lakes) and then the 3 peaks all in memory of Katy Holmes.

Katy Holmes was 10 years old when she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour  in October 2011. She fought very hard and bravely against the tumour but very sadly passed away on the 19th January 2012.

Rock FM's Cash for Kids are currently assisting the wonderful Holmes Family to start a new charity in memory of Katy and all monies raised will go towards funding the research of paediatric brain tumours in hope that one day a cure will be found.
