Natasha's Climbing for Aware

Climbing for Aware · 8 April 2022
I am raising money for AWARE because mental health is so important.
I have lived with poor mental health, having experienced depression and anxiety. The stigma associated with mental illness can make it tough to talk about - saying it out loud makes it very real, followed by the worry of being judged or treated differently. However, when I started to open up to friends and family, they couldn't have been more supportive; it made things easier.
I'm speaking out about my mental health in the hope to help others to do the same and let others know they are not alone. It's okay not to be okay.
AWARE do such fantastic work - I want to raise funds to help them continue to help people living with mental health issues and raise awareness of what help is out there.
I will be climbing Cuilcagh Mountain every week from 8th April until my birthday (23rd May), when I complete my challenge by climbing Slieve Donard.
