Story

Hello! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. In August of this year, I will be climbing Kilimanjaro in aid of the National Autistic Society! Kilimanjaro stands 5,895m (19,340ft) above sea level, it is the highest free standing mountain in the world. It will take 6 days to trek up it, with an end distance of 70km!

Autism is a lifelong developmental disability which affects how people communicate and interact with the world. One in 100 people are on the autism spectrum and there are around 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK.

The National Autistic Society amongst other things provides advice, guidance, help and support for everyone who is affected. They improve and enhance education, care and experiences to help autistic children and young people fulfil their potential. They provide residential and supported living services and Centres for adults across the autism spectrum. They provide a variety of work programmes, training and resources to cater for autistic jobseekers and employers looking to benefit from hiring a more diverse workforce!

Thank you for supporting my journey and cause!
