My brother in law Mark has recently been diagnosed with this potentially life-changing cancer and is to receive immediate medical attention. Mark is a fit man in his mid- fifties and it was an unexpected diagnosis. To have to come to terms with shocking news and deal with such a traumatic period is something difficult to comprehend. Our planned cycle ride from Southport to home in East Yorkshie will be better utilised in raising funds for a charity which offers assistance to people experiencing similar difficulties and emotions to Mark.
