We are a 24 hour search & rescue service to save lives at sea

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The RNLI will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

If you are overseas, the money can still be donated through a credit card.

I am sure you will agree that there are few charities as deserving
as the Lifeboats. The crews regularly risk their lives to save others
with no payment and no government funding, relying entirely on voluntary donations.

We will be leaving the village of East Meon on the morning of the
11th September and hopefully returning to the pubs sometime while it is
still light. That is the plan, anyway.

This is the 5th bike ride we have organised around the South
Downs. The previous local rides were in 2002, 2006 and 2008. In the meantime, in 2004, the ride was 70 miles, once around the outside of the Isle of Wight

Our previous rides have raised a total £17,000 so we have a high target to beat and obviously want to get through £20,000 in total with this ride.

Thanks again for your donation.

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
