I am aiming to raise as much cash as possible to help the great people at Clic Sargent continue their fantastic work. Clic Sargent cares for children and young people with cancer and gives invaluable support to their families. both at home and in hospital.

All the funds raised through the Marathon will go to Clic Sargent but I am also aiming to raise awareness of my other charity. The orphanage soccer academy in Phuket.I have been to Phuket on several occasions and through the veterans football I have played over the last 10 years I have been made a Patron of the academy. I aim to collect as much memorabilia from the 5 professional clubs I played for in my career. Chelsea, Sunderland, QPR, Fulham and Brighton. This I will then take to the orphanage where they will be put on show. All signed shirts will be framed.
The orphanage is for 32 children to learn, play and enjoy football from the ages of 8 to 18. They will get full academic tuition and soccer coaching from a fully quilified international coach. Some of the children have been selected from the orphanage as a direct result of the tsunami that struck Thiland.
