Do something, FAST for Haiti
Over the last few weeks we have witnessed the utter devastation made to the lives of ordinary people in Haiti. I am proud to be part of a local initiative to “Do something FAST for Haiti” to raise much needed funds for emergency relief work currently being carried out by a Nottingham based charity. There are a few ways that you can help and get involved: 1) Fast yourself with me on Wednesday 17th February, 2010 from 9am to 6pm and donate your lunch money to the cause and get your family, friends and colleagues to sponsor you. 2) Come along to the three course dinner in aid of Haiti with me at 6pm on Wednesday 17th Feb 2010 evening at the Council House – tickets are only £10.
