Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. I completed the dive last Sunday which was a great experience however it was more about a way of raising much needed funds for my Mayor's Charity,  St Kentigern's Hospice.  Every penny donated goes to St Kentigern as the cost of the dive was not taken out of the donations and sponsorship money.

I was in the tank for 30 minutes but it felt like longer!  I'd have stayed in quite happily until my air ran out.  It was fantastic to be in the sharks world and so close. They are truly beautiful animals.

The biggest sharks are the Sand Tiger sharks.  Dotty is the biggest
and is the dominant female and Alfie is the dominant male.

Other species of shark in the tank were:

Zebra Sharks, Bamboo Sharks, Guitar Sharks and Black Tip Reef sharks.

There were approximately 1500 fish in the tank and the tank holds 4 million litres of water.

My granddaughters Orla who is 3 years old at the window and Livia who is 11 years old, both enjoyed watching me dive.

A huge thanks to every one who has donated and supported my
fundraiser.

Regards

Alan
