The Samaritans will on the 21st April, 2018, cycle from Clock Tower, Leicester to Big Ben in London. To raise money to support the tremendous work of the doctors and staff of the Neonatal Unit Leicester Royal Infirmary. In commemoration of JAME KNIGHT who was brutally murdered in March, 2016. The Neonatal unit is institution he was willing to give much to but for his untimely death. Remember that the unit supports much-loved new arrivals and their families at a time when they are most vulnerable.
This is an appeal for donations at time of need. The generosity of the British people has kept this country great and the Samaritans are counting on your usual acts of kindness to raise money.
We especially want to create awareness of the need to support the Neonatal Unit, LRI, by assisting doctors and staff to provide the best of care for patients and their families. In particular your efforts by donating will help to make this Unit as homely and welcoming as possible for all users. Note that every penny given will go along way to making this unit better.
