Story

What?

We are virtually walking 811 miles from Land's End to John O Groats. We set off on 1st August and according to Google maps, it takes about 11days!

How?

We will count our steps each day, and total them up until we've reached our target. The only way to get out of walking is to fundraise- the team allows you one mile less to walk for every pound raised! There are about 2,000 steps in a mile, so it's 1,626,000 steps.

Who?

The CLORE 11 team are: Alison Diamond, Beth Bate, Ceri Gorton, Claire Dow, David Lockwood, Ellen O Hara, Emmie Kell, Hannah Bird, Holly Aston and Jo Hunter.

Why?

It’s been just over two years since we (the Clore 11s) completed our Fellowship. We still feel the regular and powerful impact of the learning and friendships gained on our Fellowships. When we started, the Clore 1s (who had a reunion at Bore Place) left a big box of chocolates and a collaboratively written list of guidance to help us to get the most out of the Fellowship. In that generous spirit, we are working with the Clore Leadership Programme to support their plans for the 2018/19 Fellow-sponsored Fellowship place. We want others to share the amazing experience that we had.

Thank you for your support- every step and every penny counts!
