Close Brothers Wimbledon - Jigsaw4U 2017 · 22 April 2017

Jigsaw4u is a children’s charity based in SW London which was established in 1997. We support children, young people & their families through experiences such as the death of a parent, being in foster care, having a parent in prison, witnessing domestic abuse, being exploited & much more.

Story

Jigaw4u is the chosen local charity for Close Brother's Wimbledon office as voted for by employees.

Based in Mitcham, Jigsaw4u provides a wide variety of services aimed at helping young people who have faced trauma and bereavement. Their services help children deal with domestic abuse, parents in prison, bullying, bereavement and behavioural issues.

Sam Byfield, Jigsaw4u’s Director of Operations, said, “We are a varied charity and the money we raise can fund many things besides specific projects. We would like to do more for our families, such as take children on trips out, buy children’s garden equipment, purchase books and session resources, or put on special activities such as music or art therapy.”

Last year we raised over £20,000 for our local charity First Touch, and this year we aim to raise even more for Jigsaw4u, which will help them with purchasing much-needed resources and arranging special outings, as well as supporting their longer-term projects and groups. This year is also Jigsaw4u’s 20th anniversary, so it seems fitting that we aim to raise another £20,000!
