I have always promised (threatened?) myself that I have to run a marathon before I'm 40. Now, obviously I'm a longggg way from 40 (11months!) but I've signed up to run the New York Marathon this year. Anyone who knows me will understand that I hate running, hate exercise and love my sofa. So the thought of getting up at 3am, queueing for 6 hours then running in the cold for another 5hours is a huge, mad, crazy commitment. So please... sponsor me to make it all worthwhile.
I'm going to be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support, an excellent charity who support people and families living with cancer. It's estimated that one in three people will develop some form of cancer in their lifetime and it is charities like Macmillan that provide essential help when it is most needed.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
