Three Peaks Challenge · 22 May 2008

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

The Team: Jill Clark, Steve Evans, Joanna Lane, Graeme Batstone, Stuart Rowland, Jonathan Powell, Lesley Williams, James Firth, Chris Spours, Michael Barber, Tracy Phillips and Colin White.

The Plan: Set off from Gloucester FSC on the Business Park on Wednesday afternoon for a long drive to Fort William. Then starting at 8am Thursday the challenge begins. Up and down Ben Nevis in no time at all, we then drive to the Lake District where we begin climbing Scafell Pike at 6pm. Aiming to finish at roughly 11pm we then set-off to face Snowdon at a less than comfortable time of 3am. Our weary little legs then have to get up and down by 8am to complete the challenge within the 24 hour period.

The Charity: Clydesdale Bank will match every pound donated to Sue Ryder care - the local charity we are supporting. Everyone is training very hard for what is going to be a very difficult challenge, so please sponsor us now!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Sue Ryder Care gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
