The aim of this raffle is to raise much needed funds to continue the work of Caring Matters Now and support those affected by Congenital Melanocytic Naevi (CMN). 

CMN is a rare and potentially life threatening condition which presents as brown or black mole at birth. They can be very large, covering up to 80% of the body, and very numerous – up to hundreds in one individual. People with large or multiple CMN have an increased risk of melanoma (a type of cancer). At the moment, large or multiple CMN are mostly untreatable.

CMN syndrome is the association of these birthmarks with brain problems including tumours, and/or characteristic facial features, or subtle problems with hormones.

With funding we have provided towards research into CMN, we have found the cause in 80% of cases..........now to find a cure!
