Keech Hospice is a charitable organisation providing free specialist palliative and end-of-life care for adults and children in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Milton Keynes. With a mission to help people live well and die with dignity.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are proud to be able to support Keech Hospice professionally as members of Cambridge Maintenance but would like to give more to the incredible work carried out by the team of medical and support staff who dedicate themselves to patients with life-limiting and terminal conditions. Keech Hospice offers free specialist treatment and support for both children and adults, and their families, to understand what is going to happen, live pain and symptom free, to stay out of hospital and to make the most of the time available.

Keech Hospice is a charity with around 70% of the care funds coming from donations. We would love to be able to give a little back to a cause that makes such a massive difference to those in our area that are facing these difficult times.

Four of our team from Cambridge Maintenance, Chris, Mick, Paul and Nicki, are attempting the 3 Peaks Challenge, to climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24hrs, to raise money for Keech Hospice. This averages out at climbing up and down Ben Nevis in 5 hours, Scarfell Pike in 4 Hours and Snowdon in 4 hours, as well as driving the 460 miles between the mountains.
