Story

Hello!

Throughout July, I am walking 69 miles to raise funds for The Hospice of the Valleys - a registered charity based in the South Wales valleys (and I’m dragging Corey along with me!) The hospice helps individuals suffering with the pain and daily battle of a life-threatening illness and provides free, high quality care for those individuals and their families from diagnosis, through treatment, and into terminal care/bereavement.

I would be so grateful for any donations to help towards achieving our target of £150 - of course, you’ll all want to know where your money is going. What your donations would mean:

If we raised £24, this would pay for an hour of specialist nursing care for a patient in their own home.

If we raised £40, this could cover the cost of a tailor made package of complimentary therapy to support a patient in helping them cope with their symptoms and anxiety, so they can make the most of their precious time.

If we raised £150, this would pay for a HCA to provide care and support for a night at a patients home, allowing their carers and family members have a proper nights sleep.
