It’s been hard to ignore the devastating human rights crisis that’s unfolding in Afghanistan. Thousands of Afghans, including academics, journalists, human
rights defenders and other activists are at a great risk, with women, girls and those who advocate on their behalf at a greater risk of retaliation.

Along with our colleagues and customers, we have stood in solidarity during Amnesty’s global letter-writing campaign Write For Rights, and we are helping to develop the next generation of human rights defenders by supporting Rise Up, a year-long training programme designed to enable young people to create the change they want to see in their
communities.
