After being born 11 weeks early and leaving the NICU, Matthew has spent nearly a decade attending appointments and services at both Edinburgh sick kids and St John’s children ward. From departments in respiratory, child development, audiology, ophthalmology, dietetics and more, without charities like Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity his/our experience would have been so different. Over the years they have provided social stories, play support, visual spaces for waiting, and so much more to Matthew and now we want to help them in updating more facilities for Matthew and all the other children using these services.
