As a father of a fifteen year old son I know how much it would hurt to lose him. My friend Paul and his family suffered the shattering and tragic loss of their beautiful son Ben at the same age - on a normal Saturday at a regular football training session. Their heartbreak could have been prevented by simple cardiac screening. Being with Paul at such a difficult time inspired me to do something to help parents and young people avoid such suffering.
