CUF works to change lives and communities together across England. Each year, we work with hundreds of inspirational people and projects who are putting their faith into action to transform lives and bring hope to their local area.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

There are 4 of us attempting to cycle the 200 mile Coast & Castles route (from Newcastle to Edinburgh) this year which we are completing in 4 days starting on Thursday 8th May.  Those riding it are Revd Damon Bage, Paul Thomas, Stewart Burton and Martin Read with backup again ably provided by Terry Hegarty.

This year we're raising money to help those who have been affected by the terrible flooding in the UK.  The Church Urban Fund has set up an online Flood Appeal and any funds raised will go directly to that.  This is what their online form has to say:

Right now, many people and communities are suffering.

Many churches are working tirelessly to provide practical help and resources to those whose lives have been devastated.

We serve those churches who are uniquely present in the most affected areas.

We know the terrible effects of the flooding will impact lives long after the waters have receded.

Church Urban Fund is looking to raise funds from across the country now, in order to provide support where it is needed most, for both the immediate and on-going need.
