In the last year, 3 babies close to me have been born in less than perfect circumstances and all had to spend a long time in hospital. This time of uncertainty was understandably awful for their parents but with the help of charities like Bliss all 3 survived and are doing well.

I'm fundraising for babies like my friend Katie's daughter Matilda (born at 28 weeks), my cousin Nancy's baby Xavier (born 7 weeks early) and my friend Bethan's daughter Maya (who fell on her head during birth which resulted in a fractured skull). 

I’ve chosen to fundraise for Bliss because I want to make a real difference to the 95,000 babies born premature or sick every year. Every donation that’s made to this page brings Bliss closer to ensuring that every baby born premature or sick in the UK has the best chance of survival and quality of life. Bliss does that by supporting parents to care for their babies, campaigning for better neonatal care and enabling life-changing research.
