Coco Channel North Channel Relay Swim · 3 August 2018
Helen, Audrey, Ruth, Hannah and Dara are gearing up (or arguably gearing down to swimsuits, hats and goggles only!) to tackle a relay swim across the mighty North Channel.
Starting from Donaghadee in Northern Ireland to Portpatrick in Scotland, we’re swimming the 35km of jelly-fish infested waters.
Our only hope is that the sunny weather endures and the water get to a positively delightful 15/16 degrees celcius.
We’re doing it to raise money for RNLI who protect those in the oceans and waterways around the U.K. An incredible volunteer-led organisation, with a hub at our starting point in Donaghadee. The ladies and gentlemen with RNLI are an incredible support to all boatmen, swimmers and sea-visitors and are our chosen charity for this swim.
Just to let you know...
All money donated and raised goes directly to RNLI. We each have covered the cost directly for our swim fees and boat support.
