Elmer's Big Parade Suffolk 2019 · 26 April 2018

St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people with a progressive illness. Our work centres around individual needs, with specialist support, wherever required, at home, in the community or at the hospice. Each year the hospice needs to generate £12.9m, of this 70% comes from the local community.

Story

Following the huge success of the 'Pigs Gone Wild' art trail in 2016 we are pleased to announce the launch of the 2019 event - Elmer's Big Parade Suffolk; which we will be proudly sponsoring!

We are extremely excited to announce that we will be having our very own COES Elmer elephant!🐘

The trail, which is based on the much loved character Elmer the patchwork elephant, sees the hospice once again join up with Wild in Art and new partner Andersen Press. The 2019 event, coincides with both St Elizabeth Hospice and Elmer's 30th anniversary and there will be a anticipated 50 Elmer statues around Ipswich!

As well as raising significant funds towards the vital services offered by St Elizabeth Hospice, 'Pigs Gone Wild' attracted over 250,000 visitors to Ipswich and contributed £1m to the local economy. We want the next trail to be even more successful.

We have pledged to raise £3,500 to help St Elizabeth Hospice
improve life for people living with progressive and terminal illnesses. So far, we have organised cake sales, taken part in the Midnight Walk and a quiz.  But, over the next few months, we will be hosting more fundraising
events for St Elizabeth Hospice, which you can get involved with!
