We are climbing Ben Nevis to raise money for the Costa Foundation on the 22nd of August 2022. Once an active volcano, Ben Nevis was first climbed in 1771, Ben Nevis peaks at nearly 1400m above sea level, it is the highest peak in the UK and you can actually see Northern Ireland from the top!
The Costa Foundation’s mission is to fund schools and school projects in the coffee-growing communities which provide the opportunity to access a safe, quality education. The Foundation does this by building new schools, or extending existing ones, investing in water supplies, furnishing new buildings, providing computers and other essential technology, building toilets and teacher accommodation, promoting gender equality, and developing land for students to grow crops.
