Story
Darren and Matt devised a plan to get out and undertake a challenge in the great outdoors (this is definitely not an excuse for a lads weekend in the pub...) and Jim suggested that we raise some money for an amazing charity in the process, which was a no brainer.
So on 16th July, 8 hardy souls will brave a 24 mile walk scaling Pen y Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. The aim is less than 12 hours but the quicker we do it the better…
All the participants are funding the trip so every penny donated will go to the Woody and Winter Foundation so please support us and them if you can.
THE WOODY AND WINTER FOUNDATION WAS CREATED FOR THE ADVANCING OF HEALTH & THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS & SUFFERING OF CRITICALLY ILL BABIES & CHILDREN, THEIR GUARDIANS & SIBLINGS. WE DO THIS BY PROVIDING FREE SOFT TOYS & RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES NOT ORDINARILY PROVIDED BY HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS & BEREAVEMENT PEER SUPPORT AFTER THE LOSS OF A CHILD.
