Porterbrook Three Peaks Challenge by Rail 2022 · 9 June 2022 to 11 June 2022 ·

Railway Children has a vision of a world in which no child is lost to the streets. Across the UK, India and Tanzania, our networks provide an opportunity for us to reach children who are alone and vulnerable before they come to serious harm. Together, we’re determined we’ll leave no child behind.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

THE TASK:

  • 8 average Cognizant folk trying to do their bit
  • 24 hours
  • Walking up the 3 highest peaks in England, Wales & Scotland (over 2 miles of vertical climb!)

THE CAUSE:

  • The Railway Children charity supports thousands of children in UK, India and Africa who are forced to leave homes that have become unbearable through poverty, abuse, violence and neglect. The charity provides crucial support to these children before they either become entrenched in street life, or worse . . . and we would VERY MUCH appreciate your support in helping them.

THE ASK:

  • We will do the training and the walking, if you could please support us you will be helping change children's lives . . . THANK YOU in advance . . . and to further make a difference, we are hoping to secure 1 for 1 MATCH FUNDING to double your donation, plus you can opt for GIFT AID here . . . every little helps!
