Story
Greetings from a fellow Former Jesuit Volunteer, Class of 1982 in the Los Angeles JVC Community. Our class had over 200 young people serving in localities around the world. If you are like me, you remember that year as being amongst the most transformative of your life. I recall the incredibly challenging work, being inspired by those I met at the Catholic Worker house, and the strong friendships we developed in our house and over weekend stays at the Santa Monica JVC beach house.
Now, decades later, I have been on the board of JVC for nearly two years along with 7 other FJVs. I feel very fortunate to be serving on this board and getting re-acquainted with such an amazing organization.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you, to those of you from the class of 1982 who have supported the mission of JVC over the years.
