Nancy and Colleen here, two fellow Former Jesuit Volunteers, Cohort of 1989-90, Belmont Community. Our class had over 200 young people serving in communities in the US Southwest. If you are like me, you remember that year as being amongst the most transformative of your life.  We remember arriving at orientation like it was yesterday.  

 We are writing to you today as current board members with JVC. Since our time in JVC, four of the regions have combined into a national organization.  We have been on the board for 2 years along with 7 other FJVs. There are so many exciting things happening.  We are continually impressed with the JVC staff and the work they are doing.  We have enjoyed serving on the board and wanted to take a moment to personally thank those of you from our class who have supported the mission of JVC over the years and to challenge those of you who maybe haven’t felt as engaged to lean in with us to assure that the young people of the future have the same opportunities that we had.
