While I have only started running 5 weeks ago, I have always loved animals, big and small. So, I am going to attempt my 10k run on the weekend of 03/04 October, in hope of raising fund for Friends of Animals. What more motivation would one need to run his first ever 10k than helping to save animals' lives.

I would also like to dedicate this run to my lovely boys, NotSo and Lucky. NotSo sadly passed away over 2 years ago, and Lucky 4 months ago. I am sure they will cheer on their daddy from the rainbow bridge. 

If 1000 people donated the money they had saved from for a coffee that would cover over a weeks veterinary charges. The cost of a take away or a bottle of wine. Any amount no matter how large or small will help us save and change lives.
