Story

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect on charities, with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in income. At a time when vulnerable members of society need them most, charities have had to cut services, furlough staff and some have even shut down. Captain Tom stepped up to help, taking on his famous walk to support the NHS Covid-19 appeal and inspiring millions to donate to the cause. At Colemans Solicitors, we will be celebrating the extraordinary spirit of Captain Tom and helping our chosen charity, the Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service.

We have invited our staff members to build on Captain Tom's legacy by taking on a challenge around the number 100 over Captain Tom’s birthday weekend (Friday 30 April to Monday 3 May 2021). As one of our solicitors will be baking 100 cupcakes, we will also be hosting a cake sale outside our offices from 10am to 11:30am on Tuesday 4 May 2021 to raise extra funds for the Alexander Device Children's Hospice Service.
