Story

As the Devon & Torbay Area Co-ordinator for the NSPCC School Service Speak Out and Stay Safe program I want to raise awareness of the impact of lockdown on children, families, carers and communities.

In the last year the brillant School Organiser, dedicated Volunteers and I have reached 124 Schools speaking to over 22,000 children during April 2019 to March 2020.

We were due to visit 131 but then everything changed. Buddy and I the School Service mascot  ( a speech bubble) and one of the best work colleagues I have ever had are missing being out in schools. So today we raise awareness, funds and have alot of fun along the way.

Help us to help all the vulnerable children, young people, families , carers and communities out there. As I am no longer in schools I am now helping out at Childline, Supporting Volunteers,  Media  and lots of other ideas for the service to enable us as a service to reach those in need in these challenging times we can find ways to help.

Thank you to the South West & Wales team who are quite simply an inspiration. Thank you, shine on.

So far we have done ;

26 Smiles
