Spring Equinox, 108 Surya Namaska · 20 March 2021

We protect and enhance the wildlife and wild places of Leicestershire and Rutland and engage people with nature. We work to save wildlife by: - Protecting precious places - Encouraging people to enjoy nature - Inspiring and educating - Researching and surveying - Standing up for wildlife.

Story

For the Spring Equinox, 20th March, at 5:45am, 16 of us will be attempting our own personal challenge to complete up to 108  rounds of Surya Namaskar. We are all ages, fitness levels and experience so for all of us it is a challenge - for some there is much to overcome.

We are practicing on our own or via Zoom and trying not to let outside events take us away from our goal.

We have all benefitted from the natural world this year and it would be nice to imagine more reserves and wild places in Leicestershire, by sponsoring us you are playing your part for biodiversity and mental well being.
