F2A is a cycle challenge from Sheffield to Amsterdam via Hull. 

I first heard of this event through my good friend Neil, after he completed the challenge in 2017 - I duly completed the ride with him in 2018 and again in 2019,  I then decided to retire from the event..... but it isn’t that easy.  Despite the horrendous conditions of 2019 I found myself missing it and have decided to team up with the guys again.

It is difficult to put into words what this means, it is about riding with so many like minded individuals all with the same goal, raising awareness and funds to help fight prostate cancer, it is about riding with a group of friends mainly from Nottingham (hence the team name) who have come together to try and make a difference, however small, to help fight this horrible cancer.

1 in 8 men die from prostate cancer, 1 in 4 black men, in fact every 45 minutes a man dies from prostate cancer, and if by riding my bike to Amsterdam, and with your help and support in me achieving my fundraising target, we can start to reverse these statistics, then it is worth doing again and again.

So, I’m back in Lycra riding with the same team, for F2A 2022 from Sheffield United FC to the Johann Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam, 145 miles over 2 days (10th & 11th June) and asking for your help and support again for the 3rd time.

So many of you have been there every year for me, and I know I run the risk of becoming the 'oh no not him again' guy, but it is you and not just me who are making a difference, and for that I thank you from my heart.
