9th September 2021 marks the seventh anniversary of Eilish's death from Krabbe Disease. I am running the Virgin Money London Marathon on 3rd October in her memory and to raise money for three charities.

Krabbe UK who support families in the UK who have a child diagnosed with Krabbe Disease, advocate for Krabbe Disease and fund research

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity who along with Krabbe UK are currently funding research in to Krabbe Disease.

Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) who supported Eilish and our family in her journey from initial diagnosis until her death. CHAS have continued to support us and many other families in Scotland.

This is my first marathon and in my training runs when the going gets tough I use Eilish as my inspiration to keep going. I am sure she will be looking down on her daddy in October and willing me on every step of the way over my 26 miles and 385 yards through the streets of London.
