Our sons Jake and Kyle were born at just 23 weeks gestation, weighing 1lb 6oz and 1lb 7oz.  Despite their tough start, they are now thriving toddlers thanks to the care and support provided by all at the RVI Newcastle's Special Care Baby Unit.  This unit cares for around 800 premature and sick newborn babies each year, and is supported by the Tiny Lives Trust.

The fund aims to provide the highest quality of care on an ongoing basis and  needs to raise at least £250,000 every year to support a range of facilities, staff, and equipment.
