I have long had  the ambition to run the entire length of the GR131 footpath from one end of Fuerteventura to the other, about 94 miles. It is now time to see if I am up to the task or if it will remain a dream. Our last couple of New Years before Covid were spent on the island with my Father-in-law and fellow Hogmanay kilt wearer, Archie Radcliffe. Sadly Archie passed away in November and so I was the only man in a kilt in the hotel this year. 

Due in no small part to the 'hospice at home' care provided free of charge by Accord, Archie was able to spend his last weeks at home with his family and whilst he would have no idea why I want to run 94 miles non-stop, I think he would be very happy for Accord to benefit from it.
