Sheffield Hospitals Charity is a great cause - providing things that make a real difference to patients and staff which are not funded through normal channels.  Anyone who has watched Helicopter ER or similar programmes will have seen the Helipad they built - this time they are looking to transform a part of their Northern General site into a garden for patients and staff.  That may not seem important, but if you have ever gone to the Northern General (the biggest health campus in Northern Europe I was once told) you might be impressed with the facilities, but it isn't the prettiest of places. The garden will make a massive difference to patients and staff.  And people like me who are wandering round the site between meetings...
