As I hit fifty next year...yes that's the big 50! I want to challenge myself ... nothing could compare to the fight that one of my closest friends, Dave Macnab is facing though! 

Dave is everything you want in a friend...selfless, kind and always there. His bravery and courage far outweighs mine as I face the boxing ring on his behalf.

 Although the outlook is really bright for him, I want to step up and raise money for Cancer research UK, so that they can continue to search for cures and treatments to help with the bigger picture.

This is for all those others around me who continue to fight and suffer at the mercy of this awful illness.

Please...please, for me, for Dave...for the future, please support me as I take up the gloves and fight for DAVE!
