Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page. You have come this far why not go a step further and donate to a great cause. I am running the Brighton Marathon 2016 for two huge reasons.

Firstly after being addicted to sugar (particularly chocolate) for over 25 years I finally broke free losing over 60 lbs in the process. I am now fitter, healthier and happier than ever before with a completely new outlook on life. So to say goodbye to the old me and hello to the new I am going to achieve a lifelong dream of running a marathon. You can follow my training progress at www.colinmstone.co.uk

Secondly and maybe even more importantly I am aiming to raise money for the Rockinghorse charity that raises money to fund equipment at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton. This hospital is close to my heart because they have treated my son Jamie when he was less than 6 months old. In what was a worrying time the staff at the Royal Alexandra were brilliant. It is for that reason that I feel the need to support the hospital and their fund raising arm Rockinghorse as much as possible. There are many more parents with sick and injured children who need the services the hospital provides and they deserve the very best equipment possible.

Now if you are still reading this then you are obviously really keen to donate so please click on the link and make a real difference to someones life today.

Thank you

Colin
