On 25 June I will be taking part in the Round Sheffield Run - https://www.roundsheffieldrun.com/ - a total of 24.5km around the hilliest parts of Sheffield. I was going to keep this quiet as most of you know I am no runner, but friends have pushed me to let people know and raise money at the same time. 

Cancer impacts on all of us, directly and indirectly. 1 in 2 people born in the UK will be diagnosed with some form of cancer - an astounding stat but one that is supported by my small immediate family - so therefore, with your help, I want to try and help make a difference by supporting Cancer Research UK with a specific link to Bowelbabe as this cause is especially close to me and my wife.

This may be a run too far for me (it sounds like 20 school cross country runs rolled into one - a recurring nightmare), but I am going to give it a go and I hope that you can support me in my endeavours
