Just over 2 years ago after a routine blood test for cholesterol I was diagnosed with having Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia or CLL for short.
Both me and my wife Heather spent the next 4 months or so in a weird state of shock and numbness.
Currently I’m on watch and wait with regular blood tests to monitor my situation.
I am I'm taking part in Walk of Light 2020 on 27th March, in support of Blood Cancer UK. People affected by blood cancer faced an unimaginably difficult year last year and I'm taking part in Walk of Light to support everyone affected by blood cancer and to light the way to a brighter future.
