RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Colin Wylie Robertson died on 15th March 2021, one day before his 96th birthday. We will be remembering him at a family gathering on 9th April 2021.

He loved the sea, especially at Beer in Devon where he spent happy times as a child with his family on holiday. He always remembered the fishing boats and fishermen there with great fondness. He also lived for some time in Saltburn-on -Sea where he would fish and muck about in boats.

He and Miranda honeymooned in Mousehole, Cornwall and when we children were young we holidayed in Devon or Cornwall. Colin would swim in the sea and go fishing or out in a boat whenever there was an opportunity.

We would be delighted if we are able to raise some money in his memory for his favourite charity.

Thank you so much.

Amanda, Davina and Quentin.
