Moebius Syndrome is a rare congenital disorder which to date, has no cure. It affects primarily the 6th & 7th cranial nerves, which means that those with the condition are unable to move their faces (can't smile, frown, suck, grimace or blink eyes). We aim to raise £250,000 to fund research into the cause of Moebius.

Story

Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page. Yes, the rumours are true. Iain and I are driving across America on a couple of Harleys. We will embark on our epic trek from Edinburgh Castle Esplanade, travelling through the fair streets of Edinburgh en route to the airport. There we will head West to Washington DC for our gruelling journey to Los Angeles, a mere 3227 miles in 10 days. Being Scots we decided to up the ante and we will be wearing our kilts for the whole journey, even the Rockies and Grand Canyon.

"Let the wind blow high, let the wind blow low," just not too low!!! We intend for this to be huge, as we are not only looking for kind sponsors, but we also need companies wanting to advertise on our bikes and clothing. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Moebius Research Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
