The Mazda London Triathlon 2008* · 9 August 2008 to 10 August 2008 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I am doing the London Triathlon on the 10th August to raise funds for the Stroke Association in memory of my Mum.

Mum passed away on the 8th June 2008. She had suffered multiple strokes over a period of nine years, and spent the last five years of her life totally paralysed and unable to speak. The funds raised are to reduce the occurrence and impact of strokes, and also support the families whose lives have been affected by this dreadful disease.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Stroke Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
