When the call came to climb Ben Nevis with Frank Bruno on my birthday then it was too good an offer to turn down. However, those who know me know that if I won an award for laziness then I would send someone to pick it up!
After the initial excitement, I thought it might make sense to ask Alexa how high Ben Nevis was! Not one to be easily shocked, I picked myself up off the ground and am still figuring out how to ascend UK's tallest mountain with 2 gammy knees and a glass ankle?
However, motivation comes from within having lived with the pain of mental health throughout my life - I lost my big sister to this silent killer and care for my amazing son who has Autism. It's always a little awkward to ask you all for help, but your kindness has made you read this far, so a 'wee' donation would be an amazing gesture to help this amazing cause. #mentalhealthmatters
